Hello dear candidate.

I would like to let you know that if you have missed out the margin in the first round by a huge number, there might be less possibilities of you getting admission.

However, if the margin is less, you may still hope t get admission.

IIT JAM...MA or MS which one is more easy to crack.....

Roma Kaur 1st Jun, 2019

Hello Aspirant

IIT JAM Mathematics Statistics is hard to crack as it has limited number of seats.

IIT JAM is a tough exam and requires good study if you want to crack it. But I’m not demotivating here, it’s way easy to crack it if your fundamentals of statistics are clear and you study with proper planning.

The first thing you need is to make all your basic concepts strong. Make sure that you have got the complete knowledge about the JAM Exam pattern, syllabus and all-important dates.

I suggest you get at least 10 years of previous years old question papers and solve them regularly, also try mock tests, this will give you a better idea about exam pattern.

Thus MA is easier to crack.

Best of luck!

For EEE branch RIT kottayam or MA college kothamangalam which one is better in terms of academics & placement

shwetasaini505_9233227 Student Expert 10th Jul, 2019
Hello Neethu,

RIT Kottayam is a government owned college whereas MA College is a private college. If this factor is of utmost importance to you then I suggest you to go for RIT Kottayam because of government ownership.

Now if you consider the other aspects that make a college impressive, MAC is the college that you should go for.

The faculty are highly experienced and knowledgeable.

The infrastructure is of high class and the library is well-equipped.

The college life is fun as there are various clubs and events organized throughout the year.

The placement record varies from decent to good. However, if you perform well throughout your college the you will get placed.

RIT Kottayam is also a highly esteemed Institute and it also has great faculties and placements. However, MAC is better in terms of academics.

You can get details of these two colleges in below links-

How is Ma in social work from DU ?Also how are the placements and curriculum for pursuing Ph.d ?

Monika Sundar 10th Jul, 2019

hii akhil

MA Social WorkProgramme Structure
Students joining the Department of Social Work bring diverse academic and personal background. They come with their own unique professional and personal reasons for pursuing a master's degree in social work. Thus the curriculum is designed in such a manner that students can easily build on what they have, by taking advantage of new teaching methods which can reinforce the basic skills and concepts. Keeping this and the changing expectations from the profession in mind, the Department has revamped its course curriculum and has introduced semester system from the academic year 2009-2010. The M.A. Programme is divided into two parts  and each part will consist of two semesters. As department of Social Work follows Generic Course structure , it doesn't provide any specializations but students can choose electives and design the course on their own in the second year of the programme.

Hello there,

You have got 88 marks and the cutoff for M.A. geography for all categories is 166 and above. So with those marks it is not possible to get M.A. geography in Allahabad University. I think you should try for some other college.

Hope this helps.
