The provisional merit list of the candidates selected for the Masters of Arts course in English Literature has been put up in the website with no mention of any waiting list howsoever. The number of candidates in the provisional merit list is 36. It would be ideal for you to apply in other universities too. You can check the official site of loyola college a few days later to see if there is any new notice that concerns you.

Hi, after completing your qualifying examination i.e 12th boards you can apply for undergaduate courses but in master level courses. The marks obtained in class 12th boards determine your eligibility to take admission to undergraduate courses in various college, that have different procedures to select candidates and always have different % of quota/ reservation for SC category. So if you belong to SC category yes you can apply for it. Admission to master's level takes place after you have completed your graduation and your marks in your final year in undergraduate course determines your eligibility for admission to master level courses. Your marks in 12th boards is not related to your admission in master level courses.
Good luck
