If you are pursuing one degree in distance mode and the other in regular mode then it is fine. You will not face any kind of problem or difficulty.
Pursuing two regular degrees at the same time is not permitted.

Choice entry was there so you should have been able to do that but the time given is 11 am on Oct 5 so thats the deadline. If you have not done it by now, I am afraid, you may not be able to do so anymore.

If this is for the accademic year 2019, then the registration process usually begins from the months of May. The examinations might be held in June and usually the classes commence from August. Please watch out for their official website www.du.ac.in/ for notifications. Hope this helps!
