I have my caste certificate from Madhya Pradesh but I have done my 12th from Gujarat. Is my caste certificate valid for JAC Delhi counselling under outside delhi category ? Your help would be appreciated.

Vidya Kasi 20th Oct, 2021

Hi

According to Joint admission counselling Delhi admission brochure , your state category will be the state from where you qualified your 12th examination so in this case you will be considered in 'Gujarat category' and therefore outside Delhi category.

Now the reservation certificate should be issued from the respective state/region in which the reservation is being claimed. In your case since you are under Gujarat category according to your 12th place of qualification your reservation certificate should be from Gujarat only.

For more on this refer admission brochure JAC 2021

Hi.

With your All India JEE rank you can get into following colleges based on your branch preference:

For CSE:

  • National Institute of Technology Agartala
  • National Institute of Technology Sikkim
  • National Institute of Technology, Manipur
  • Assam University, Silchar
  • Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar
  • Institute of Technology, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Bilaspur, (C.G.)
  • J.K. Institute of Applied Physics & Technology, Department of Electronics & Communication, University of Allahabad- Allahabad

Since, you are eligible for CSE then you will be eligible for other branches (mostly) as well because CSE usually has the lowest rank (high-cutoff) because of its demand amongst students.

You can use our College Predictor tool for JEE Mains to help you in finding college and branch of your choice based on your merits in the exam.

Good Luck

JEE mains 5652 genral adVance 12222 rank what college I should fill in choice state madhya pradesh also should I take drop to correct my advance score next year thanks in advance

sheemaashraf123 3rd Nov, 2021

It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category
However It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced

But the previous cut offs of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly

For the college preferences and the courses provided by these colleges and to know which colleges participate in the JOSAA counselling, please go to the below mentioned link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa-participating-institutes/amp

For college prediction as per your marks and rank, please go through the below mentioned link: https://www.careers360.com/college-predictor

Rest if you want to take a drop year you can, but i suggest that you first see if you get any any desired college or not, if you are fine with the college well and good, if not then you take a drop year.

I have passed my 12th from Surat(city in Gujarat) and going to give Jee Mains from Surat as well. But I have my SC/ST caste certificate issued by an authority from my home town in the state of Madhya Pradesh. So will my SC/ST caste certificate be applicable in JAC Delhi counselling for outside delhi

Kabita 9th Nov, 2021

So, you have your caste Certificate from your home town Madhya Pradesh. Well, it doesn't matter from which state you belong or from which state you completed your school. All you need is Central SC/ST (Caste) Certificate. When you will go for admission they will ask you to show the Central Caste Certificate. If you have that there will be no problem for you regarding the Caste Certificate thing.

I got 300 in neet UG can I get in bds college if yes then which one government or private and fees structure. Also I belong to obs class and state is Madhya Pradesh

pdwords Student Expert 18th Oct, 2021

Hello,

If we go through 2019 cut-offs for OBC Category through state quota, 495 marks secured seat in Government College of Dentistry, Indore hence chances for government dental college with 300 marks seems tough, though there are possibilities for private dental colleges such as

  • Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry, Indore
  • Bhabha College of Dental Sciences, Bhopal
  • College of Dental Sciences, Rau, Indore
  • Guru Gobind Singh Dental College Burhanpur
  • Hitkarini Dental College and Hospital, Jabalpur
  • Index Institute of Dental Sciences, Indore
  • Institute of Dental Education and Advance Studies, Gwalior
  • Maharana Pratap Dental College Gwalior
  • Rishiraj College of Dental Science & Research Center, Bhopal
  • RKDF Dental College and Research Centre Bhopal
  • Peoples College Of Dental Sciences, Bhopal
  • People's Dental Academy, Bhopal
  • Mansarovar Dental College Bhopal

this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as

  • seat matrix
  • total number of candidates appearing for the exam
  • top neet scores
  • reservation
  • difficulty level of the paper etc,
