ayanmukherjee045 9th Sep, 2023

Hello Ashutosh,

As you are an EWS category holder and if there is written there in caste serial number to enter the details of EWS/SC/ST then you can enter the reference number of the certificate or else leave it.

If you have not received the certificate then you can enter the registered number. You will get it through the person you have applied.

Yes, the merit list for Madhya Pradesh BE/B.Tech admission 2023 was released as per the official schedule.

Here are the complete details:

  • Admission Authority:
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh, manages the centralized admission process for BE/B.Tech programs.

  • Release Date of Merit List:

    • The provisional merit list for MP BE/B.Tech admissions 2023 was released in July 2023 after the verification of documents.

    • The final merit list was published after addressing grievances and corrections raised by candidates.

  • Where to Check:

    • Candidates could check their merit status on the official website: dte.mponline.gov.in .

    • You had to log in using your application number and password to view the assigned merit position.

  • Basis for Merit List:

    • Merit was prepared primarily based on the JEE Main 2023 scores.

    • For vacant seats, admission based on Class 12th scores was also considered.

  • Important Steps After Merit List:

    • After the release of the merit list, candidates were allowed to fill and lock their choices for counselling rounds.

    • Seat allotments happened in multiple rounds based on the merit ranks and choice filling.

  • Counselling Rounds:

    • There were generally Round 1, Round 2 , and College Level Counselling (CLC) to fill remaining seats.

    • Special rounds were conducted if vacancies existed after the regular rounds.

  • Important Documents Required for Verification:

    • JEE Main scorecard (if applicable)

    • 10th and 12th mark sheets

    • Domicile certificate (for MP candidates)

    • Caste/category certificate (if applicable)

  • Final Note:
If you missed the counselling based on the first merit list, there were opportunities through CLC rounds where candidates could apply directly at colleges if seats were available.
