HI I have scored 71 marks in mhcet law for 5 year llb Which r the colleges where I can get admission in mumbai General category outside MH

Muskan Sehgal 17th May, 2019

hy Abhishek!!

I am sorry to inform you that with 71 marks you cannot get admission in one of the Government colleges as the cutoff for MH CET goes very high. You should start looking for an alternative approach. But you keep on checking the list of the colleges to ensure if you got your name there just hope for the best. Feel free to contact us for any further queries.

good luck!!

Hello,i had scored 79/150 in mhcet law.I belong to general class and m a Maharashtra candidate. Is there any chances to get admission in ILS

Prabhat Mishra 15th May, 2019
Hello Arpita

The marks that you scored, unfortunately falls behind what marks are needed to get into ILS Mumbai. Even if you are in Close candidate ( from Maharashtra), it would be a little harder to get an admission in Indian Law Society Law College Mumbai because--
  • In general category the opening cutoff is around 143
  • The closing cutoff of general category is around 111
With 79 marks you won't be able to take admissions in ILS Law College, however there are few colleges that will give you admission like...
  • Manikchand Pahade Law College Mumbai
  • St. Wilfreds College of Law Mumbai
Hope you find the above information helpful, in case of any queries please feel free to comment below.

I have scored 109 in MH CET LAW 2019 in outside Maharashtra category. Can I expect a call from some ILS or GLC?

Prabhat Mishra 14th May, 2019
Hello Chandhok,

First of all, congratulations for scoring 1o9 marks that is good enough and a rank of 752 in General category. This marks of yours in your hands will give you fair enough opportunity to get into the best colleges under MH CET.
109 marks in MH CET will give you a chance to enter some of the best colleges in Maharashtra for Law.
However when we talk about Government Law College, Mumbai, your chances of getting into this college appears to be quite unlikely because in general category, this college offers a cutoff range of 144-127 marks which makes it hard to reach with your marks.
Now when we consider ILS, you have a better chance to enter this college when the cutoff falls through.
But considering your marks, you have chance to take admission into some of the other top colleges under MH CET like -

  • Gopaldas Jhamatmal Advani Law College, Mumbai
  • Kishinchand Chellaram Law College, Mumbai
  • Dr. Ambedkar College of Law, Mumbai
  • Rizvi Law College, Mumbai
  • Shankarrao Chavan Law College Pune
  • St. Wilfreds College of Law Mumbai
  • Shri Shivaji Maratha Law College Pune

The above mentioned colleges are among the top most, so you have an opportunity to explore these options, however I suppose you must be giving clat, your marks make me feel you have bright future, so study well to get an NLU which would be far better than any of these.
Hope you find the above information helpful, however in case of any further queries please feel free to comment below.

I fill mh cet law application form 2019 .but there is mistake in my form .so what can I do..either reapply or wait for correction date

SHRADDHA GUPTA 2nd Apr, 2019

 Hello Gauri,

You can make changes in the application till the last date of submission. If you have crossed the last date, you are only left with an option to wait for the application correction link of MH CET examination. It will most tentatively be out in the second week of April. Also, only some details like name, date of birth, qualifying exam or course details can be corrected. Some other fields will not be changed.
