MAH AAC CET MAH-MBA/MMS CET
With 95.10 percentile in the MAH CET 2025 for BBA/BMS and being a non-local (Outside Maharashtra State – OMS candidate), you have a competitive score, but admission to top Mumbai colleges under the All India quota can still be challenging due to limited seats and high cutoffs.
For BMS or BAF, your percentile places you in a strong position for mid-tier to upper-mid-tier colleges. Admission to top institutes like NM College, Mithibai, Jai Hind, and HR College is highly competitive, especially for the All India category, where cutoffs often exceed 96–98 percentile. While you’re close, these colleges may still be difficult to get in the initial rounds.
You should actively consider applying to colleges like:
Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management
SIES College of Arts, Science & Commerce
Wilson College
Sydenham College (for BAF specifically)
Thakur College of Science and Commerce
These institutions have a solid academic reputation and are more accessible at your percentile. Since you passed Class 12 in 2024, you’re eligible for this year’s CAP rounds. Make sure you complete the centralized admission process (CAP) on the official portal and select colleges in order of preference. Track the institute-wise and category-wise cutoffs regularly.
With a 93.5 percentile in MH CET Law 5-year, you have a good chance of securing admission to DES Navalmal Firodia Law College, Pune. Other options include University of Mumbai Law Academy (UMLA), and potentially other colleges depending on seat availability and category.
DES Navalmal Firodia Law College, Pune this college is a good fit for your percentile.
University of Mumbai Law Academy (UMLA), Mumbai: You might also be able to get into this
Other Colleges: Your percentile should also be competitive for other colleges with slightly lower cutoffs, and depending on your category (e.g., reserved category) you might have more options. Check here

If you missed the MHT CET exam, you cannot get admission through normal counselling. But you can still get admission in private colleges through management quota. Some colleges give direct admission if seats are empty. You can also join diploma courses and later enter second year through lateral entry. Government colleges will not allow without CET, but private colleges may help.

If MAH CET MBA exam is over for this year, you cannot apply for MBA through CET now. There is no November attempt. You can either:
1. Apply for MBA this year through other entrance exams like MAT, CMAT, or direct admission (if available),
or
2. Wait and apply for MAH CET next year.
Most government MBA colleges require CET or equivalent exam score.
Dear Priyansh,
1. Register for CAP Round on the official DTE Maharashtra portal if not already
2. Apply to 20-25 colleges including safe, moderate and ambitious ones.
3. Keep an eye on college wise merit lists once released which usually late June or early July
4. Consider backup option I mean if top tier do not work
THANKS
Hii,
No, not all MBA programs require these tests. These are merely entrance exams that are accepted by a lot of universities. Depending on the college you wish to attend, you can take any of them (such as MAH CET, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, or ATMA).
Additionally, some universities have entrance exams of their own. Therefore, for the majority of MBA admissions, you only need to take one appropriate exam. To find out which tests the college accepts, always visit their website.
