Yes, you can take admission in Science stream under NIOS Board, after passing from Maharashtra board based, on the marks you scored in class 10th . But you have to study from class 11th again if you wish to change your stream from Commerce to Science. So, you must study from class 11th once again in order to complete your class 12th from Science stream.

The Pre-University examination is perfectly for the 11th & 12th course in South Indian State such as Karnataka PU etc. But for Maharastra its Higher Secondary. So it may create problem, during the document verification of the candidate if she gets selected for any institute through JEE.

As you have mentioned that you have done your 12th with pcm from HSC Maharashtra board in the year 2018 and now you wanted to take a seperate exam of biology so let me tell you that's not possible because your 12th marksheet has been released and you have already graduated from your school.
If you are talking about some competitive examination which is related to biology then you should have taken biology with physics chemistry mathematics as your subjects only then you would have been in eligible to crack these exams.

There has not been any official announcement or putting up of any notice stating the cancellation of Maharashtra boards exam for class 12th. As of now, exams are to be held as per the date sheet released for the board examinations.
On December 16, 2021, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education announced the HSC test date for 2022. On December 21, 2021, the Maharashtra board also announced a complete HSC time table for the year 2022. The theoretical examinations for Class 12 will be held from March 4 to March 30, 2022.
