Maharashtra AAC Common Entrance Test
Given that you scored 42% in the MHT CET, securing admission to top engineering colleges in Maharashtra might be challenging as top branches like Computer Science and IT often have cutoff percentiles of 99+.
However, some private colleges and less competitive branches might still be accessible. You could consider exploring colleges and branches with lower cutoffs, such as:
Colleges that may accept low percentiles
1.Fabtech Technical Campus, College of Engineering: This college had a cut-off percentile of 42.02 for Computer Engineering in 2022.
2.Jaywant College of Engineering & Management, Killemachindragad: This college had a cut-off percentile of 6.11 for Computer Engineering in 2023.
3.D Y Patil College of Engineering and Technology: In Round 1 of 2022, the cutoff percentile for this college was 42.52.

Hi dear candidate,
At the score of 50% in MHT CET exam, there are very limited options for engineering colleges especially government colleges. You should look for colleges or universities that allow direct admissions like BVIMR Pune or DY Patil.
Keep in mind BVIMR also conducts their own CET exam so you might need to consider management quota.

Hey Atharva:)
Thanks for reaching out!
With 54 percentile in MHT CET, you have a fair chance of getting branches like Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering in private or lower-tier engineering colleges across Maharashtra. Highly demanded branches like CSE,IT,or AI will be tough at this percentile unless you belong to a reserved category or consider low-demand private colleges.
You can also explore niche branches like Food Tech or mining in some private institutions.

Now, top government colleges like COEP, VJTI, and Sardar Patel Institute might be tough to get at this percentile, but there are several private and semi-government colleges where you stand a good chance. Here’s a list of good colleges you can target:
All these colleges offer the branches you are interested in, and the cutoff trends for AI/ML/DS branches are relatively flexible after 75 percentile, especially in round 2 and 3 of CAP counseling.
Make sure you check fee structures, placement records, and infrastructure before finalizing a college. Also, some of these colleges even offer minor degrees in Cybersecurity if it's not a standalone branch.

Hello aspirant,
Here is the list of Physiotherapy Colleges in Maharashtra accepting MHTCET score,
I hope this helps you.
Best of luck for your college hunting.
You got 81 percentile in MH CET 5-year law exam as an OMS (Outside Maharashtra) student and you are female. With this score, it is very difficult to get admission into top government colleges like Government Law College (GLC) Mumbai or ILS Pune, because these colleges usually take students with more than 99 percentile from OMS category.
But you can still get admission into some private law colleges in Mumbai. These colleges may accept 81 percentile for OMS students. Some of these options are:
KC Law College, Churchgate GJ Advani Law College, Bandra Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Law, Chembur
These colleges are under Mumbai University and have decent facilities. You may also get admission in private law colleges in Pune, Nagpur, and other cities in Maharashtra, which accept scores in the 70 to 80 percentile range.
You should still apply and check the cut-off marks during the counselling process. Also, keep checking the official website for updates.
