Nope! During the Admission/counselling round, the category can't be changed. The main reason behind it is that during the results, the category wise ranks are provided as a result, the declaration of the category is required during the form fill up.
So you didn't apply for admission with EWS if you haven't provided it during the form fill up.

The MHT CET 2022 application form link has been activated on the official website mhtcet2022.mahacet.org. The MHT CET application form 2022 last date without late fee is March 31. The following are the MHTCET's eligibility requirements:
The student must have completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Math. The required aggregate score is 45 percent, with a minimum score of 40 percent for the reserve category.
As the aggregate marks determine your eligibility, you must score 45 percent or 40 percent in the aggregate, and you must have passed all of the PCM subjects.

The eligibility criteria for the MHTCET is provided below:
The student must have passed 10+2 with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics . The aggregate marks required is 45% & the minimum mark for the reserve category is 40%.
So as the aggregate marks is the eligibility, you have to score 45% or 40% in aggregate and you must have all the subjects PCM & you should have pass in each of them.

The state entrance common cell, Maharashtra releases the mhtcet eligibility criteria for 2022.
The eligibility criteria is as follows:-
1- The candidate should be Indian.
2- The candidate should pass in its 10+2 equivalent examination from any recognised board or university.
3- Candidates should score a minimum of 45% marks in mathematics, physics, chemistry.

The MHT CET exam shall be conducted at approximately 350 exam centres spread over 35 districts in Maharashtra. Candidates will have to choose 4 out of the list of districts for appearing in the exam with the most preferred on the top. There are no centers in West Bengal for MHT CET but for CMEDK there are centers in West Bengal. Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released the COMEDK UGET 2022 exam centres at the official website.
