Maharashtra AAC Common Entrance Test
When you get a total of 114 marks in the MHT CET PCM stream, your percentile will have to be within the number that all the students that year got. Normally a 114/200 in PCM can roughly be equivalent to a percentile of about 75 85 but it also depends on how difficult and competitive a year is.
Percentile is the number of applicants in which you ranked above. As an instance, an 80 percentile implies that you were outperforming the 80 percent of candidates.
In order to find out your percentile:
Get the valid MHT CET connection or scorecard after it has been published.
Use last year cutoff trends to get close ranking.
Your score in MHT CET PCM is 88 percentile, and as such, you may not be able to secure Computer Science in the best government colleges in Pune as they would be expected to take at least a 90 percentile.
But still better private colleges in Pune will have your score with seat of Computer Science like MIT Pune, Vishwakarma Institute or Sinhgad Institutes where cutoffs may be lower.

Hey! Since you’ve got 89 percentile in JEE Mains and 86 percentile in MHT-CET, and you belong to the OBC category, you do have some good options in both state and central colleges.
With your JEE percentile, getting into top NITs or IIITs might be difficult for CSE or core branches, but you might still get lower-demand branches in newer NITs or other institutes through the JoSAA counselling, especially if you include all rounds and choices carefully.
As for MHT-CET, 86 percentile is quite decent, especially for OBC category. In state counselling (CAP rounds), you could have a good chance in government or aided engineering colleges in Maharashtra, especially for branches like IT, ENTC, Electrical, or Mechanical. For CSE in top Mumbai or Pune colleges, cutoffs might be tighter, but you can still aim for mid-tier colleges where the closing ranks are higher.
Also, don’t forget to apply through both JEE and CET counselling, and fill in as many choices as possible to keep your options open.
