I got 63 percentile in jee main, I belong to SC category. I am not able to attend MHTCET exam in Maharashtra. Can i get good college?

Abhishek Roy Student Expert 25th Apr, 2019

Hello!Vaibhav Dange

Your percentile under ST category is too low.You cannot secure seats with this score in government engineering college. You need at least 65 percentile under ST category for NITs or IIITs.For sureity wait till NTA announce cuttoff and rank for each category.

Ask for any query.

GOOD LUCK!

How many seats are there for outside maharashtra students in engineering colleges of Maharashtra that take admission through mhtcet?

Priya 25th Apr, 2019
Hello Yash!

The number of seat reservation depends on how many seats the college has for every branch.
According to DTE Maharashtra,
85% of the seats in the private unaided engineering institutes in Maharashtra will be filled through MHT CET,
while 15% seats will be filled/reserved for All India Quota.
