Criteria is same for all the students. There isn't any such special criteria for any group of students. Its just that you should have Maths and Physics in your qualifying exam and you must have passed the same with a particular percentage.

eligibility for OBC candidates are 45% in aggregate of 5 subjects ? Or in only Phy, Chem and math(3 subjects). ?

General category candidates should have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in 12th standard examination (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates).

MHCET exam in my application it is mentioned PCMB ,however i wnt to pursue engineering ,will it affect my score if i dont take biology paper

Hi Suresh,

The eligibilty criteria for engineering through MHCET is 

  • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board/ University with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

So there is no need of biology for engineering.I am putting you the link

What is the benefit of giving MHT CET as JEE Main 2019 marks will be prefered over MHT CET for admission in b.tech for All India Candidate.

Hello Rajkumar,

If you prepare well for JEE Main,  you'll automatically get ready for MHT CET as well.
Also there is no negative marking in MHT CET which makes it much comfortable for the student.

Also, prestigious government colleges in Maharashtra only accept MHT CET score.
