dear student,

You can apply state board exams conducted by different states. There are some central government institutions like aiims, jipmer are conducting exams. For admission you have to apply and give competitive examination. Some private institutions are there which are taking direct admission.

All three optiins are still there namely:
  • Freeze
  • Float
  • Slide.

Float is taken when the candidate accepts the allotted seat but displays interest if any higher preferred branch or college is open for admission in the next rounds of allotment.

Hello Kusum,

Generally speaking, your HSC is okay considering that you need minimum 50% as a criteria to get admitted to a degree college.

However, 80–90 marks won't fetch you any good college if you plan to go for Engineering or Medicine in Maharashtra.
