Hi I am Sudarshan ,Iam from Maharashtra I have domicile and caste certificate issued from Maharashtra government and passed HSC in Maharashtra but SSC in Karnataka can I eligible to claim medical college admission (govt) through 85percent quota??

Rishita hari 16th Oct, 2020

Hello Sudarshan,

As you have mentioned that you have domicile certificate of Maharsatra and caste certificate too issued from the gov. itself then you surely are eligible for the 85% state quota counselling for Maharashtra. And in the eligibilty criteria you are required to produce your 10th or 12th passing certificate from this state. So, you have the HSC certificate, that won't be a problem hoefully. https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-maharashtra please follow this link for cutoffs and all the documents related query in the state.

why the Maharashtra government are not giving any clear answers on mht cet are there any slight chances of cancelled of exam due to the pandemic as 7 states have cancelled their respective cets and started admissions on basis of having marks ??

Akram Khan 28th Aug, 2020

Hi,

Nowadays due to the situation of covid -19 pendamic it is difficult to take exam in Maharashtra state.

So the MHT cet exam has been postponed till any further notice of exam conducting authority. There is possibility that these exam may be held in the month of October- November

However nothing is confirmed yet. You should wait till the new notification regarding exam come on the official website.

So instead of getting worried you should prepare for the exam until any notifications come on the official website. So keep visiting the official website for regular upadtes.

Here is the link of MHT cet official website -

What is the safe ranking for Maharashtra NEET UG government college admissions for general category student..There are how many total seats available for general quota in Maharashtra government college after removing AIQ and State level reservations like EWS, SC, ST, OBC etc.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 7th Oct, 2020

There are approximately 5000 MBBS seats in Maharashtra. This includes both Government, Private and Deemed Universities. This number is  including seats allotted for 15% All India Counselling. Excluding, this there might be atleast 3500 and more seats available for Maharashtra State Counselling across all Categories. And this year there is no 70:30 reservation which means atleast 1500 seats might go for General Category. This is just a  rough estimate because of any Medical College gets its seat intake updated, we might not have those details yet. And regarding an All India Rank, ranks do change every year but you will need an ideal score of 500 and above for a seat in a GMC.
