Maharashtra Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination
Yes, preparing for the 12th MHT-CET syllabus will also cover your board syllabus, since both are the same. For boards, focus more on textbook theory, diagrams and writing practice. For CET, practice MCQs and speed-based solving. Solving previous years’ board papers will boost your score. With proper balance, you can easily aim for 90%+ in boards while preparing for CET.
Hello
With 86% in Class 10th in Maharashtra Board, you have a good chance of getting admission in ML Dahanukar College of Commerce in Class 12th in 4th round.
In the final round, the cutoff goes to 85-87% and you have 86% which falls in that bracket. So there is probability of getting that college in final round.

Dear candidate , Since you completed both Class X and XII in Maharashtra, even without originally selecting " domicile " , you can claim Type A Maharashtra State candidature during MHT - CET CAP . This category applies when your qualifying exam was taken in Maharashtra, and you are domiciled in the state - meeting both criteria ( XII in Maharashtra and domicile certificate) . Even if you initially selected " open " , you can change your category to SEBC or corresponding state type at CAP registration , and thereafter , you will be eligible under the SEBC reservation in engineering admissions .
hi,
Since you completed your 12th from Maharashtra, you will mostly be eligible for the Maharashtra state quota in colleges. Just living in Madhya Pradesh doesn’t usually make you eligible for the MP state quota unless you have an official domicile certificate from MP.
So, without MP domicile, you can apply under Maharashtra’s quota. If you have MP domicile, then you might be able to apply under MP quota too.
Maharashtra SSC Result 2025 is expected to be declared on May 15, 2025.
Exam Dates: Feb 21 – Mar 17, 2025

If you have scored 78 percent in the Maharashtra State Board and want to calculate your eligibility or normalized marks for JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling, it’s important to note that JoSAA considers percentile scores from JEE Main and not board exam percentages directly. However, board exam marks are used to check eligibility criteria, especially for IIT admissions, where a student must be in the top 20 percentile of their board or must have scored at least 75 percent aggregate marks (or 65 percent for SC, ST, and PwD candidates).
Now, when students attempt to convert their board percentage (like 78%) to a score out of 500, it's often done unofficially to compare with CBSE or other boards. But JoSAA and NTA do not officially provide any such conversion. For JEE admissions:
Your JEE Main percentile and rank are the primary factors for admission.
Your board percentage is only used to verify your eligibility for admission (especially for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, where you must have passed the Class 12 exam).
If you believe there’s a mismatch or confusion in your score normalization, it’s best to contact the JoSAA helpdesk or your school examination board for clarification.
The improvement exam fees for the Maharashtra HSC (12th) exam are as follows:
Examination Fee: 930
Administrative Fee: 20
Marksheet Fee (with lamination): 20
Practical Exam Fee: 10 for Science subjects, 100 for Technical subjects.
Bhai same here, mujhe bhi 75% se 1 mark kam hai..
