I am a sc category and a maharashtra domicile student. If I want to get admitted into MNLU, MUMBAI what is the minimum tentative score that would get me into it? also considering the fact that clat is of 150 marks now.

Gargy Mudgal 23rd Aug, 2020

Hello Sakshi,

To grab your opportunity as for to be a student of MNLU, as you know, you have to give The exam of CLAT, however, round-wise cut off are released by the university to for how much you have to score to be a part of the university Can be determined after that only, which will be released by University at the time of counselling as the cut off is different every year & are based after looking on certain factors such as  Allover total CLAT  applicants,  Total  students applying for MNLU, Sactioned Seats, category etc..

earlier scoring between 150-200 can get you to any top level NLU

and so as now CLAT  will be of 150 marks now,

scoring a minimum of between 110-150 can lead you to  MNLU or any other NLU

& This year Seat intake capacity for BALLB  is 13 for the students who belong from Maharashtra & is of SC Category.

& for LLM,  total seats reservation for SC is 7

So there are chances of higher cut off this year.

Hope you got your answer,

Feel free to ask any other query in the comment section.

Best of Luck!!

whats the cutoff for Maharashtra National law University?

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 22nd Sep, 2019

Hey.

The cut off rank for admission in Maharashtra National law University, Mumbai in this year 2019 was a rank of 512 in the third merit list for the general category. In the previous year 2018 the cut off rank for admission here was a rank of 508. Considering this a rank around this range would be a safe option for admission in this college. As far as marks are concerned, you can never be certain about what range of marks required as ir varies a lor each year due to factors like level of difficulty and level of competition.

Best of luck

Percentage score in admission of your College

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 30th Aug, 2019

Hey.

Admission in Maharashtra National law University, Mumbai ie MNLU mumbai is done based on CLAT scores and ranks. Hence for admission in this college you'll have to appear in CLAT and the marks that you score here would be considered for admission. Other than that to be eligible to get admission through CLAT you need to score a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in your 12th boards. Other than this your marks in boards will not be considered for admission in this college.

Best of luck

Ive scored 117.25 and my rank is 5488. Any chances of MNLU?

Yash Vardhan Singh 29th Jun, 2019

Hello Aria,

CLAT is a National level entrance examination for taking admission in various NLUs spread across India.

With your above mentioned rank, it's quite difficult to get admission in MNLU as the cutoff of this college is very high in last years.

I'll suggest you to wait till last round of counselling as this may fetch you a seat in HNLU, Shimla.
