Maharashtra NEET
Hi aspirant,
The state authorities of Maharashtra would soon comments the second round of Neet state counselling. During the counselling registration the candidates are required to fill the choices in order of their preferences. There is no limit to the number of choices a candidate can fill in Maharashtra MBBS counselling so you can fill as many as choices you want. It is recommended that you should choose at least 25 options so that you could definitely be allotted a seat.
Based upon preferences submitted by candidates, NEET 2021 result, state merit rank, reservation criteria, eligibility conditions, and availability of seats you would be allocated one by DMER.
Hope it helps!
Hello,
There is no fresh registration for Maharashtra NEET UG 2021 second round counseling. The candidates who have registered in first counseling will be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds unless they cancel the seat or filled the status retention form. There is no provision for new registration. If you cancel the seat or does not join in the allotted institute then it implies taht you are not interested to seek admission through CAP counseling hence you will not be considered for subsequent rounds. So it is mandatory to join in the allotted institute in CAP counseling. If you are not satisfied with the seat allotment then you may opt for betterment by not filling the status retention form.

Hi reader ,
suppose you are alloted a seat in 1st round of counselling of Maharashtra and you opt for upgradation then there may be following possibilities.
1) if your seat does not get upgraded then you will retain the seat alloted to you in round 1 and will be joining that
2) if you seat does get upgraded then you will be joining the upgraded college in round 2. in this scenario the seat alloted to you in round 1 will stand null and void and you would not be able to go back to that seat.
i hope this helps
for knowing your chances of getting a college you can refer
thank you

In case of Maharashtra, if you have not filled retention form and you don't get any seat in next round then you can get your previous allotted seat.
But in All india counseling, If you get a seat in first round of counseling and if you opt for betterment in second round of counseling. Then you will loose your previous allotment of first round.
