Maharashtra NEET
hello,
According to NTA rules, if you get a college in the first allotment, you can still sit for the second counseling. But if and when you get admission or a seat allotted in the second counseling, the seat in your first college is automatically canceled. Although you get the documents back, the fee that you pay for the counseling is NOT returned.
Hope this helped. good luck!!
There are approximately 5000 MBBS seats in Maharashtra. This includes both Government, Private and Deemed Universities. This number is including seats allotted for 15% All India Counselling. Excluding, this there might be atleast 3500 and more seats available for Maharashtra State Counselling across all Categories. And this year there is no 70:30 reservation which means atleast 1500 seats might go for General Category. This is just a rough estimate because of any Medical College gets its seat intake updated, we might not have those details yet. And regarding an All India Rank, ranks do change every year but you will need an ideal score of 500 and above for a seat in a GMC.
Hi Abdul Majeed,
The private colleges usually have approximately 15% seats reserved for the NRI aspirants. The eligibility requirements from the NRI aspirants is same as that of the resident Indian candidates i.e. NEET score. The fees is 4-5 times that of resident Indian candidates.
Please visit Medical Admissions for NRI in India to know the number of seats, course fee as well as All India Rank of the candidates in the NRI quota.
Do revert if you need more information.
