Getting into mgit and cbit is somewhat hard with your rank,but there is a chance of getting into colleges like bvrit,gurunanank etc...

But,also try in these all colleges you may have chance of getting into mechanical or some other branch also try in vnr college.

The placements are awesome for all the courses in MGIT. Especially so for computer science and electrical groups. For civil it is an average. But, you can complete your masters in this college to seek better placements for civil group as well. You can also look up the college website regarding the placement details. The placements are conducted in the college by only the famous companies.

Placements are minimal for the department of civil in CVSR.However, the quality of education provided is very good. Students who have been hired by the placement management have not yet received their call letters, and some people received them after a long time. Placements for the civil department are low, and the companies which hire the students don't belong to the civil domain, which is a minus point.

Hence, MGIT civil is little better than CVSR civil branch on account of placements.

Compared to last year, the percentage of placements increased this year with huge opportunities to the graduate students. The final year students were happy after the placements.

Placements are very good in  JNTU. The students are getting maximum placements out of 60 students In a class a maximum of about 50 members are getting placed with a maximum package of about 6 lakes. Very good placements when compared to all other colleges.

BUT, placement wise MGIT is better than JNTU Karimnagar for CSE branch.

In general, it is not quite possible to tell if you will be able to get a seat under category-b. It solely depends on the students who apply for a seat under category-b. But in your case, your rank might not be quite not enough to get you a seat in cse/ece/it at above mentioned institutes.
