Major
Hii,
The cut-off marks for BA English major for the SC category differ from university to university and even from one college to another within the same university. Typically, SC category candidates have a slightly lower cut-off compared to the general category, sometimes by 5–10 percentage points or equivalent marks, depending on the reservation policy of that state or institution. For example, if a general category cut-off was 85%, the SC category cut-off could be around 75–78%. However, these numbers are not fixed—they depend on the number of applicants from that category, the difficulty level of the qualifying exam, and the total available seats in the program. Some universities publish detailed cut-off lists for each category on their official admission portals. My advice is to check the official admission page of the university you are targeting.
Thank you.
The cutoff marks for the SC category in BA English major vary by university and state. In most government and reputed autonomous colleges, the SC category cutoffs are usually 5 to 10 percent lower than the General category. For example, if the General cutoff was around 85% , then the SC cutoff ranged between 75% to 80% .
In states like Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Delhi, SC students were able to secure BA English seats with marks in the range of 60% to 75% , depending on the college’s demand and reputation. In less competitive colleges, the cutoff could go as low as 55% to 60% .
You are advised to check the previous year admission list of your preferred college or university for exact data, as cutoffs can differ widely from one institution to another.
Dear Candidate , The SEBC - NCL eligibility depends on a combination of caste , income and sometimes parental employment profile . Military service like your father's does not automatically disqualify you , but some conditions apply . Yes ,you are eligible for SEBC - NCL if : - Your caste is in the SEBC / OBC list ( Central or state ). - Your family's annual income ( excluding any pension ) is less that 8 lakh .
Hello,
If your correction from ABM to Agronomy was saved but the application form is still showing ABM, and now the correction window is closed, then you should do the following:
Take a screenshot of your correction page or any proof where it showed Agronomy after correction (if you have it).
Contact ICAR/NTA helpdesk immediately. Explain the issue clearly and share your application number.
You can call them or email them.
NTA helpline: 011-40759000
Email: icar@nta.ac.in
Mention everything — that you made the correction on time, it showed correctly, but the downloaded form still shows the old subject.
Don’t wait. Contact them as soon as possible so they can help before the admit cards are released.
Hope it helps !

Hey there! The appropriate NEET code for you would be :
CODE:02 - for candidates who have passed 10+2/HSC or it's equivalent with physics, chemistry and biology/biotech and English.
However, this is only valid if your 10+2 level included Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology as core subjects.
Hello ,
I hope you are doing well. As per your mentioned query , you can score good marks only by practising. Keep practicing on regular basis and make your foundation strong first. Then analyse the topics in which you are not good so that you can give more time to that topics. Try different types of questions on the same topic so that you will get an idea of questions patterns.
I hope this helps you!
Revert for further query!
Yes, you can choose Zoology as your major, Biotechnology as your minor, and Botany as an open subject, as long as your college or university allows these combinations.
Each college has its own curriculum, so it's important to check your institution's rules.
