i am a student of allahabad university.. 1st year bsc i have bsc major chemistry and bio chemistry.. i only faild in 1st and 2nd semester in chemistry.. can i continue my 2nd year . or i have to back year

Hi,
In many cases, students are allowed to continue to the 2nd year even if they have back papers in a few subjects. You will most likely need to reappear for the failed Chemistry papers as a back/supplementary candidate while continuing your regular studies.
So, you may not need to repeat the entire year immediately, but you will have to clear those papers later to complete your degree successfully. It would still be better to confirm the exact rules once with your department or university examination office
