I got 7.27 cgpa in my first year despite being online semester . can I increase my cgpa in subsequent semesters .I belong to electrical engineering from mnit Jaipur??

Subhrajit Mukherjee 18th Aug, 2021

See as you are in first year, you will need some time to understand the pattern and to understand the ability you should have in order to get a better CGPA.

As you are in EE I would recommend you to focus more on internals, numerical solving over the concepts. Learn theories as you can but always learn to get your numerical skills better as being a EE student the most required skill for you will be Network Analysis. So try to strengthen your concepts as well as your skills of numerical solving in order to get a better result.

Also you should study the previous year papers of EE for MNIT Jaipur and try to pick the trending topics and focus more on those as you will get benefit in getting a better marks.

I am from obc category and get 92.93 percentile can i get addmission in mnit jaipur plz answer as soon as possible

ayanmukherjee045 17th Aug, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have secured 93 percentile approximately in your JEE mains so let me tell you that you predicted rank would be somewhat around 70-75k.

Taking into consideration that you are from obc category still it is very difficult for you to get any branch in this college because the cut offs are high. You need to score atleast 97+ to get a branch in this college.

i got 50 percentily & i am gen ews PWD candidate what i got mnit prayagraj in civil branch.

Anurag Khanna 11th Aug, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See as of now NTA has not released the number of total PwD candidates so it is little bit difficult to predict the PwD rank for now but if we go through previous year's cut-off for Gen-EWS PwD category for NIT Allahabad then it shows that :-

Closing EWS PwD rank for NIT Allahabad in 6th round of JOSAA counselling was :-

  • Civil Engineering branch - 183

So if you will be securing your EWS PwD rank under 170 then you would have quite good chances to get NIT Allahabad with Civil Engineering branch.

You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

what is the minimum percentile to get a seat in nit t ,nit Jaipur, nit nagpur ,nit roorekela or nit calicut for b.arch .for other state students belonging to obc.thank you

Sharon Rose Student Expert 2nd Aug, 2021

Hello,

It is quite difficult to predict the percentile score to get admission in the preferred NITs in B.Arch because the cut off changes every year depending on the number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. And the cut off for each Institute is different. Here is the last year cut off for admission to B.Arch in the preferred NITs under OBC-NCL Other state quota in round 6

  • NIT, Calicut: 418
  • VNIT, Nagpur: 622
  • NIT, Trichy: 251
  • NIT, Rourkela: 511
  • MNIT, Jaipur: 573

You can find the cut off using the link below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-b-arch-b-planning

h ttps://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx (https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx)

Considering the previous year cut off you need to score minimum 96-98 percentile or above in JEE Main. This is an estimated percentile score.

To know the colleges in which you have chances of getting seat you may use our Architecture College predictor tool

Can i get CSE in mnit jaipur in home state general gender neutral if i got 250 marks in jee mains 2021 in upcoming sessions?

Nikita 12th Aug, 2021

Hello Student,

Percentile for 250 marks in JEE Main will be around 99.78 to 99.98. This is a very good score and you will definitely get a seat in CSE course in MNIT Jaipur under home state quota.

Eligibility criteria to take admission in MNIT Jaipur is that one needs to take the JEE (Main) exam and either secure at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class XII or be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in his/her respective Class XII board examination.

Also if you want to check other colleges to take admission, you can check JEE mains college predictor tool through the link I am mentioning below:

i got 98 percentile in jee main 2021 what branch i will get in mnit in (obc-ncl in home state)

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 14th Jul, 2021

Hi

With 98 percentile

Your obc rank will be around 5000

With above rank, you have good chances in MNIT jaipur under home state

For example,

In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 ,  7298 obc rank for gender neutral obc category under home state got chemical engineering in MNIT Jaipur

You also have also have chances in following branches under home state

  • Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)- 12171 obc rank

To check previous  year closing rank you can visit official website of josaa at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

This college prediction is based on past year cut off/closing rank but closing rank changes every year due factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

How many marks and rank should one obtain in JEE Main 2021 for OBC category (Other state) ECS branch at NIT Jaipur plz plz Tell me something so that I can increase my preparation.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 9th Jul, 2021

Hi

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then ,

In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 , 3250 obc rank was the closing rank for gender neutral for obc category for other state in nit jaipur for Electronics and Communication Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology)

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

So,

You should target around 3000 obc rank i. e around 99 percentile in terms of marks around 180 marks

you can use rank predictor at

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

Now that,

limited time is left for jee mains 2021 remaining sessions i. e march, april and may session, so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year jee main question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,

  • go through mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.
