I got 7145 rank In st category can I got mnit jaipur in computer science or mechanical engineering

Anurag Khanna 12th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2021 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that the closing ST rank for CSE branch in National Institute of Technology Jaipur in 2021 was 410 and for Mechanical it was 1057 so with the mentioned ST rank you have almost no chances to get National Institute of Technology Jaipur even under Home state quota.

You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://josaa.admissions.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your JEE-Main score or rank you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so now you can check whether you have qualified for JEE-Advance 2022 or not, JEE-Main 2022 qualifying cut-offs are enlisted below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) -  88.4121383 percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 63.1114141 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 67.0090297  Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 43.0820954 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 26.7771328 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0031029 Percentile

Anurag Khanna 10th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2021 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that the closing EWS rank for Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur in 2021 was around 6k so with the mentioned EWS rank you have very less or almost no chances to get Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur.

I have secured 1547 SC Category rank in JEE Mains 2022. I am expecting ECE in MNIT Allahabad as well as CSE in NIT Delhi. Which should I go for? And Any Suggestions for branches in colleges will be very helful for me. (I am not passionate any particular branch)

Anurag Khanna 10th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See if you are focused towards placement like you wish to work in private sector in software development sector then you should definitely go with CSE branch but if you want to keep the doors open for public as well as private sector then ECE branch is recommended. So here colleges cannot be differentiated because they both are well known NITs.

Also on such SC rank you have good chances to get various NITs or IIITs or GFTIs. You can get an idea from previous year's closing ranks available on the official website :-

https://josaa.admissions.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx

So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India on the basis of your JEE-Main 2022 result :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Note that the above list is merely a prediction which has been made on the basis of latest cut-offs available and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

Anurag Khanna 9th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Very first thing I would like to clear you is that mentioned NITs are better than DTU or NSUT in terms of placement, facilities, faculties and so on..

On such CRL rank you have good chances to get various NITs or IIITs or GFTIs for CSE branch. You can get an idea from previous year's closing ranks available on the official website :-

https://josaa.admissions.nic.in/Counseling/seatallotmentresult/currentorcr.aspx

If we go through previous year's data of seat allotment On the basis of data mentioned in the question by you, you can go for the enlisted colleges :-

i got 131 marks in session 2 26th july shift 2 2022 can i get mnit jaipur category obc home state

Anurag Khanna 5th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to tell you an exact figure of your percentile and rank because it keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors but yes we can help you with approximate figures on the basis of analysis of previous year's data.

So If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2021 then according to the marks mentioned by you in the question your percentile, CRL rank and OBC rank are expected to be in the range of 96.7-96.9, 30000-35000 and around 7500-9000 respectively.

Note that the percentile and rank which are predicted is only the expected percentile and rank on the basis of previous year's data so your actual percentile  and rank might vary depending upon current factors.

Based on such rank and category you can go for:-

@Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering
  • Metallurgical and Materials Engineering

anushkasrivastava073 4th Aug, 2022

Dear Aspirant,

A rank of around 5000 is considered to be a very good rank. Firstly, I would like to congratulate you for your achievement. A short answer to your query would be, YES! Of course you can get MNIT Jaipur if your rank is 5000.

Cutoff Ranks OBC NCL Home State Quota(6th Round):

Chemical Engineering- 6668(Opening) 9086(Closing)

Civil Engineering- 5882(Opening) 8408(Closing)

Mechanical Engineering- 4660(Opening) 6719(Closing)

Metallurgical Engineering- 10175(Opening) 11843(Closing)

These are the branches that you can expect by the end of the 6th round counselling. However, at your rank, you cannot get Computer Science Engineering or Electrical or Electronics in MNIT Jaipur. But you can get these branches at some other NITs which include:

1.NIT Hamirpur

2.NIT Durgapur

3.NIT Delhi

4.NIT Surathkal

5.NIT Patna

6.NIT Jamshedpur

7.NIT Krukshetra

i got 80 percentile in jee main what can i get mnit

nikhil singh 17th Jul, 2022

Hello and congratulations for your result. To be honest with you it is very hard to get mnit with this percentile also you have not mentioned your category so I am assuming you to be a general category student then it seems difficult to get mnit with any branch.

You can use given below college predictor to check by your own means-
