first you have to check that your rank is suitable for this college or not if yes so mention this college name at the time of counselling if no, so talk to high authorities of the college regarding admission if there will be management quota seats so they

for taking admission in government college for mba   your rank is high, but forsure you can try taking admission in government colleges. all the best.

You can check UPSEE website to see previous year's ranking for college's intake for students taking admission via counselling.

Generally, for HBTI Kanpur.. general rank ranges from 1~300 for different courses.

While to opt in any other courses.. you still need a rank < 700~1000 with or without any quota.
