Yes you can apply for the mat exam now as the applications are open till 8th February 2019. The exam will be conducted in two modes paper based and computer based. The results will be declared in the fourth week of February so the colleges will be allotted

 As Feb is already got over, you can choose May MAT. Most of the colleges will accept May MAT based on the seat availability. If you already attended Feb MAT that will help you to improve the performance in May. Along with this, you can attend other private universities
