CMAT stands for common management admission test whereas MAT stands for management aptitude test. These both are admission tests for MBA and are very similar. However number of colleges accepting MAT score are more in number.

A fair score would be above 600 and a good score above 700. Above 740–760 you would be able to crack any Mat College if you perform fair in other rounds as well.
