HPU shimla is not a great option for mba at this percentile you can try other colleges.
In HPU, the tution fees is 19500 approx for 2 yrs. of mba. The median placements are 3 lacs and highest being 10 lacs.
You can go for ims ghaziabad, ipe Hyderabad,
NIT's MAT cutoff percentile is very high compared to some top B Schools. A minimum percentile of 90 is needed to get a call from NIT Silchar. With 42 percentile in MAT, there are very less chances to get into NIT Silchar for MBA.

To be honest , it isn't. Very few good colleges take admission from MAT. While the concept of good may vary from person to person , I am taking into a general perspective of colleges with respect to placement , average salary, median salary and learning growth .
Nisha, if you are referring to the MAT Composite Score, then you can calculate your percentage as follows:--
(Your score or Marks/ Total Marks) * 100
Now, in case of MAT, the total marks is equal to 800, so in your case, the formula comes out to be (498.5/800) *

Sorry to say that but your score is not enough to get you to any good college for doing MBA and it is not worth it to do MBA from any college just for getting a degree, Try for MAT in May or prepare for CAT and MAT
