Manipal University is Good, Best branch in Manipal university is Computer Science and Engineering. The college has very good placements, especially for core branches. The placement rate is above 95% in core branches. The highest package offered was nearly 45LPA, and the average package is nearly 12 LPA. For Campus placements big companies like Amazon, Microsoft and IBM. While packages offered to other branch is not bad still the highest package generally goes to CSE.
While SRM has better placement percentage than Manipal for Big Compines.
Both VIT and SRM are Good University. Both the University continuously upgrades the Knowledge and Skills of the faculty members using various Faculty Development Programs.
VIT has a slight advantages over SRM. VIT university has been consistently been setting records and breaking them over the past several years. VIT is good for any stream.

It is difficult to predict the exact marks because seat allotment depends on the rank secured by the candidate. In 2020 a candidate with rank 10978 secured seat in Manipal Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering. Considering the previous year cut off you need to secure a rank below 10000. The maximum marks for Manipal Entrance Test is 800 marks. You need to score minimum 680-700 marks to get such rank. Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on the number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc.

Yes you have to pay extra rupees for MU OET has three attempts out of which the best one will be considered for the final admission of the candidate.
The slot booking for attempt 1 is free of cost. However, for attempt 2 slot booking a fee is charged. Last year the fee charged is Rs. 1400.

Manipal University conducts their own entrance exam (Manipal Entrance Test) for admissions in their B. Tech program. They give admission on the basis of your rank obtained in this exam. They do not consider your JEE (Mains) score.
MET or Manipal Entrance Test is mandatory. You need to have a minimum 50% aggregate marks (PCM or PCB) in your class 12th examination. The last date to fill the application form is 15th March 2021. You can go through this link for more information.

MET is Manipal Entrance Test. It is conducted by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) for admission in various courses provided at Manipal University. The programs offered by Manipal University based on the result of MET are MBBS, BA, BSc, BPT, BTech, BArch etc.

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has released MAHE application form 2021 on December 11. Last date to apply for MAHE admission 2021 for B.Tech courses is March 15. The Manipal Entrance Test 2021 will be held tentatively in May for admission the dates are not yet announced. keep an eye on the official website for the latest information.
