There is no choice  between center based online exam or remote proctored. The MET 2021 will be held in either of the two methods based on the situation considering the COVID measures. You have to apply normally for the exam and the mode of examination will be informed later

MET scores are not normalized rather, the final cut off marks are based on the marks scored by the candidate only. For instance, last year the cut off marks for MET was 120. The cut off rank is released by the authorities after each round of counselling.
