MIT Manipal is the oldest and I think would be the best in the case of placement also. So I would personally prefer MIT Manipal than Jaipur. So both are good and you should choose as per your convenience, as the placement levels would be good in Both the campuses.

It depends on number of participants and it varies every year. 350 is more than enough to just get into Manipal (main campus) if you aren't aspiring for any specific branch, you'll have a choice of just 2 or maybe 3 branches if you're lucky whereas you'll have multiple options
