It was established in 1969 and is one of the oldest Engineering branches in Manipal. It has got its reputation ( we have our own building :p ). I can say that Faculty is not 100% best, not more than 4 to 5 professors are good with their subjects.

Hi Jhinuk, there is no comparison between the two colleges, IIIT Bhubaneswar wins hands down. The placement record has been excellent. Lots of fortune 500 companies come to IIIT Bhubaneswar for placements like Apple, Google.

NIT Agartala is not a bad college Shreya, it may seem far and subsequently bad but trust me it's not so. It has got decent placement record and good faculty like all other NITS and much better facilities and infrastructure because its newly constructed. But, I suggest you participate in

Among the two options mentioned above, I would sincerely suggest you to for CSE in MIT, Manipal if you don't have any fees boundary issues. B.Tech in MIT, Manipal costs upto 23-24 lakhs as whole while IIITDM Kancheepuram would barely cost you even half of that amount.
