For the Main campus, CSE has the highest cutoff with the last seat going at around AIR 2700–2800.

A score of 550+ would have been a very good situation to be in. Manipal is a very good institute so please go ahead with the admission process once you get a chance, CSE is very bleak but even if you get other computer branches or ECE go

See Chemical Engineering is not so much in demand in India. You can easily get into Chemical Engineering in the Manipal Main Campus, Mangalore.
