This is quite difficult to get admission with these scores and to get admission in any of the university, this is compulsory to clear all your backs. So it would be better if you could share which particular college you are aiming for as the criteria varies accordingly.

Manufacturing engineering has better scope than Biotechnology. Choosing a branch depends on your interest every branch has good scope it depends on your caliber. 

 

If you have taken admission you don't have to worry about that just give your best.

Both the specializations provide good opportunities in the market. How ever, manufacturing takes an edge over the latter because of its work environment. Even if you observe the cutoffs in IIT s and NITs, manufacturing is observed to have higher cutoffs compared to thermal.

Mechanical and manufacturing have 3-4 courses different. So if location is not issue I would suggest go for BITS Pilani any day .
