I got 75.74 percentile in jee mains March.I belong to OBC Category, female from andhra pradesh.I want to apply josaa counselling. Is their any chance to get seat in government colleges.

Nitya 7th Sep, 2021

Hey,
As per the predictions, the cutoff for OBC category will be in between 70-75 percentile.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff/amp
So, there are chances that you will qualify the exam. And about JoSSA, everyone is allowed to participate in JoSSA counselling irrespective of the fact whether they have qualified jee main or not. So you can participate, but seats are given to those who qualify the exam with a decent rank. Just qualifying is not enough to get a seat in participating institutes of JoSSA counselling.

However with this score you can get colleges like:
GNOIT GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, GREATER NOIDA
TIT, BHOPAL
DITM, SONEPAT
LNCT BHOPAL
Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT), Delhi
Fore more predictions of the colleges that you might get with this score, you can use the college predictor tool.

ANKITA SONI 6th Sep, 2021

Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.

As your OBC-NCL certificate is of this year but according to the guidelines the category certificate shouldn't have to exceed 1 APRIL, 2021. So your category certificate will not be valid in JOSSA counselling. So kindly update your category certificate, you have certain time for this otherwise you will be treated as a general candidate in the JOSAA Counselling. Hope this will help you.

I got 160 marks in jee mains 2021 march session and july 168 marks. I got percentile 57 . but as shown here 100+ is 90 percentile then how come I got only 57 percentile

Nimisha Sharma 29th Aug, 2021
Such a low percentile is not possible with a score above 160, kindly check the answer key with precision. Also make note that you get +4 marks for the correct answer, -1 for every wrong answer and 0 marks for unattempted ones.
Also, percentile for every subject is mentioned in the report card of Jee mains, you will get the idea in which subject you lost maximum marks.

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

Hello student

hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that  if their is a will , their is way. Entrance can be only cracked by hope and self-confidence. You need to be have very proper roadmap as time is very less and you need to be selective with the topics which comes frequently in the jee mains previous year . Dont foucs much on maths in last time ,go thoroughly with the 10 year and try to solve chemistry questions as much as possible .
