Candidate can apply for NDA (national defense academy ) exam between 16.5-19.5 age as mentioned in the eligibility criteria for NDA. Upsc conducts Nda exam twice a year that is, nda I  in April and NDA II  September. So, a candidate can give 5 or 6 attempts

The student should complete 14 years of age in the December month of that academic year.

For example, when your son is giving exam in March 2026, he should be 14 years by the December month of 2025.

The application form for this exam would be released in December. The eligibility criteria is as follows :

• Your minimum should not be less than 18 years as on 1st August 2023.
• Your maximum age should not be more than 27 years as on 1st August 2023.
