Hii!
Yes, you can apply for NDA 2 this year. The age eligibility criteria for this exam states that the candidate must be unmarried and should have DOB between 2 January, 2003 and 1 January, 2006. As your DOB falls in between these dates, so yes, you are eligible if you satisfy the qualifications and other eligibility criterias.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 9th Apr, 2021

Hello,

Rank is calculated based on the percentile score of the rank and the total number of candidates appeared for the examination. The rank predictions that you get using our JEE Main rank predictor tool or JEE Main college predictor tool is based on previous year data so the actual rank and the predicted rank may vary because the total number of candidates appearing for the JEE Main entrance examination changes every year. As per the 180 marks mentioned by you in Feb shift your percentile varies between 99.45- 99.57 your General rank between 5003 - 3932. On 127 marks mentioned by you in March shift your percentile varies between 97.81-98.25 your General rank between 20164 - 16084. There is a very less chance you can get any government college . But there is fair chance yo can get private college on your desired branch.

i got 98.75 pr in jee main march 21 I am gen ews from Gujarat. which nit cse branch receive?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 2nd Apr, 2021

Hi

With  98.75 percentile

Your ews rank will be around 1500- 2000

With above  rank, you have  very good chances in NITs for computer science. For example, you have chances in

  • NIT Patna ,computer science :- in 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 closing  rank under other state for computer science was 2480 ews rank

  • NIT Srinagar :- computer science

  • NIT Agartala :: computer science

And  a few more

For previous year cut offs of top colleges like NITs, IIITs, GFTIs , you can refer our page at :-

NITs :- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-top-btech-branches

IIITs:- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-iiits

GFTIs :- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-gftis

Or alternately you can visit official website of josaa at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Above prediction of colleges is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc so

Sharon Rose Student Expert 2nd Apr, 2021

The category rank is expected to be around 1000. Considering the JoSAA 2020 round 6 cut off you have chances of getting seat in the following institutes in Computer Science Engineering under EWS other state category

  • Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar
  • National Institute of Technology Durgapur

my percentile is 78 in jee mains March attempt I am obc NCL .is any good nit chances for me ?????

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 2nd Apr, 2021

Hi

Your profile suggest that your home state is Uttar Pradesh

With 78 percentile

Your obc rank will be around 80,000.

With above  rank, you have very low   chances in NITs  For example,

Your home state is UP so you will be eligible for home state quota in NIT Allahabad but even under state quota your  chances are very low in NIT Allahabad

For instance, In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, the closing rank for obc category in NIT Allahabad was 11478 obc rank under home state quota  and it was for biotechnology

Under other state also, your chances are very low.

For example, under other state quota closing rank for some of the lower NIT for OBC category is provided below as 6th josaa counselling 2020 :-

  • Nit Ap, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) :- 14902  obc rank

  • Nit nagaland :- Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) :-  15340 obc rank

  • National Institute of Technology Agartala    Production Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology :- 15659  obc rank

You can verify the above at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

So, to get a seat in NIT you should get at least around 15000 OBC rank i. e around 95 percentile, while for good NITs you should target at least 98 percentile.

Above prediction of is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below
