Yes, cusat is a very good option for marine engineering. It has 80 seats for marine engineering. It is the first Marine engineering college in the state of Kerala. So, it's a very good college. It has good infrastructure and faculties.

Hello Aadhil Abdul Kareem , Both colleges are good for marine engineering but one is the private which is coimbatore marine collage and another one is under state which is cusat but the placement and all are much similar in both colleges, but overall best is cusat.
So, I suggest you to go for Cusat.

Firstly congrats for getting excellent marks in class 12. In order to get admission into Indian Maritime University (IMU) for B. Tech program, you are supposed to appear for their entrance examination (IMU CET - Common Entrance Test).
IMU CET is conducted twice a year in June and December. Since you got above 90% in your class 12, you can easily apply for that entrance exam. Any students above 60% class 12 (for Physics, chemistry and mathematics) are eligible to apply for the exam.
You can go through their site and you can definitely find the syllabus for that exam. The entrance exam is objective in type and it’s duration is 3 hours and the big thing is that it don’t have negative marking. So you can attempt those questions even if you don’t know the answers. If you do well in the entrance exam, then you can easily get an admission.

see srinivas institute of technology offers bachelors of technology in several disciplines. however according to the students review the college infrastructure is moderate and placement records in also moderate. most of the companies visits the campus is IT disciplines, logistics and marketing domain. so if you want to make career in core marine sector the college is not a good choice. some of the best marine engineering colleges in india,
