placement in Srinivas institute of technology in marine engineering and stating salary package plz reply

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 26th Aug, 2020
Hello.
Placement for marine Engineering in Srinivas institute of technology is average, by getting a rough idea about 80 to 85% student get placed, but if  talking about salary package so don't expect high package because even for Computer Science and Engineering the highest package l was of rupees 14 lakh rupees per annum and 3.5 lakh rupees per annum was average package so you can consider average package of Computer Science and Engineering as a starting salary package for marine Engineering.
Best of luck.

sir will I get admission in IMU for B tech in marine engineering with my class 12 kerala state score physics 120/120 chemistry 120/120 mathematics 94/100 .please answer

Shebinsha P K 24th Aug, 2020

Hi there,

Firstly congrats for getting excellent marks in class 12. In order to get admission into Indian Maritime University (IMU) for B. Tech program, you are supposed to appear for their entrance examination (IMU CET - Common Entrance Test).

IMU CET is conducted twice a year in June and December. Since you got above 90% in your class 12, you can easily apply for that entrance exam. Any students above 60% class 12 (for Physics, chemistry and mathematics) are eligible to apply for the exam.

You can go through their site and you can definitely find the syllabus for that exam. The entrance exam is objective in type and it’s duration is 3 hours and the big thing is that it don’t have negative marking. So you can attempt those questions even if you don’t know the answers. If you do well in the entrance exam, then you can easily get an admission.
