After marine engineering, you can find both government and private job opportunities. You'll be hired by boat building companies, engineering companies, transportation companies, some scientific institutes and any other related fields and you can also seek for jobs in IT industry as they are welcome for all the graduates. And, so many jobs are available abroad too.
This has been one of the most offering course in terms of salary package. Freshers may get a package of 8 lakh per annum which may sometimes go upto 40 lakh per annum based on your skills and depending on how firm you work. Jobs related to marine engineering on land are such as navigation, at the docks and ports too.

For marine engineering you have to get 60% at least in 12th standard with PCM and you need to score 50+ in English either in 10 or 12.
