is JEE requird for marine engineering

suresh venkat 23rd Jan, 2019
Hello adi prashanth,
Jee mains is not a compoulsary exam to get into a marine engineering.
There are other state level entrance examinations which is available for admission in their respective state colleges.
But I reccomend you to write jee examination, because if you score good here you can get colleges at all over india, but if you try to go through state exams, you will be having chances to get into their respective state colleges only.
Some of the good  marine engineering colleges are
Andhra university
Neotia Institute of technology and management (NITMAS)
Seacom engineering colleges, kokatta
So you can check out these colleges.

Hello

Indian Maritime University conducts IMU CET for admission to the various courses offered by the campuses of the institute.
You will have to appear for IMU CET examination. It would be difficult to provide you the marks required for admission as it varies every year depending on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, candidates appearing in the exam, availability of seats, etc.
