I got 392 marks neet 2025 Im a vjnt category student from Maharashtra is their any chance I can get mbbs in Maharashtra through state quota in Maharashtra?

SEJAL JAIN 22nd Aug, 2025

Hello

With 392 marks in NEET 2025 and being from the VJNT category in Maharashtra, chances for a government MBBS seat through state quota are very low.
Previous year cutoffs for VJNT in government colleges were around 500–525 marks.
Your score may not meet the required cutoff for these colleges.
However, you can explore private colleges under the VJNT quota or management/NRI seats.

HELLO,

To know which college and branch you can get through you marks and ranking you should :-

1.Participate in counselling rounds and prioritize and fill maximum possible choices and branches you prefer but keep backup options as well

2.Go through the last year's cutoff or closing ranks to get an idea that where your rank fits

3.If government options don't match your branch preference than you can look for private universities or deemed universities

Hello

To get admission in Government Polytechnic Jaunpur through JEECUP, aim for a score of 200+ for better chances.
In 2024, Electronics Engineering had a closing rank of around 16,126 in Round 1 and extended to 44,724 in later rounds.
Cutoff marks vary by category. General needs around 79+ marks, OBC ~74+, and SC ~67.5+.
Lateral entry cutoffs were even lower ranks under 700 being accepted.

I have not any sports certificate, but i did graduation in Physical Education with 60% , i just want to know that is sports certificate numbers/marks will be add in merit list or not please answer me Thank You.

Abhilasha Agrawal 21st Aug, 2025

If you have completed graduation in Physical Education with 60%, then your admission/selection will mainly be considered on the basis of your academic marks. Sports certificates are generally given extra weightage or bonus marks only in courses, jobs, or recruitments where a sports quota is applicable. Since you don’t have a sports certificate, you won’t get those extra marks, but your merit will still be calculated purely from your academic percentage. So, sports certificate marks are not compulsory, they are just an added advantage where applicable.

In Gynee where can I find MS in NEET PG rank as 25000 and marks as 500

Ankur Mehta 21st Aug, 2025

Hello Taiba,

With a NEET PG rank of around 25,000 and score of 500, it will be very tough to get MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in government colleges, because the cut-off for Gynae in govt. institutes usually closes much earlier (mostly within top 8–10k ranks).

But you still have chances in private or deemed universities, where MS Gynae seats often go till 20–25k rank range. So while govt. options are almost closed at this score, you should definitely try in deemed/private colleges through counselling.

I got 584 marks and AIR 5007 please guide me college and branches

Ankur Mehta 21st Aug, 2025

584 marks with AIR 5007 is quite competitive. With this rank, you have good chances to get admission in top government medical colleges under All India Quota and also excellent chances in your home state quota if you belong to a state with decent number of seats.

Talking about branches, with your rank you can definitely expect clinical branches like General Medicine, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, and even Radiology or Dermatology in some states depending on cut-off and competition. In high-demand metros like Delhi or Mumbai, top branches may go a bit higher, but in other states you’ll have strong chances.

My suggestion is:

1. First, prioritize government colleges during counseling for better exposure and fees.

2. In choice filling, put your dream branches like Radio, Derma, Medicine at the top.

3. As backup, keep Paediatrics, Orthopedics, and Surgery.

4. If you’re open to private colleges, your rank is good enough for almost any branch.

I gave my 12th exam this year in which I got less marks. Then I gave improvement exam in which also I could not score full marks. So can I become a private candidate and appear for the exam again next year or not?

Mallika Thaledder 20th Sep, 2025

Yes, if you are unsatisfied with your marks even after appearing in the improvement, then you can appear for the finals again as a private candidate next year. You will have to register independently, prepare at your own pace and sit for the exam without attending regular classes.

I got 252 marks in neet 2025 with all india rank 595873 so can I get government quota in your university

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 20th Aug, 2025

With 252 marks (AIR ~5,95,873) in NEET UG 2025, you won’t get an MBBS seat in any government college as even SC/ST cutoffs stay higher, but you may still have chances in private BDS, BAMS, BHMS, Nursing, or Paramedical courses, and in some states, MBBS may be possible only through costly private management quota seats; the exact options will depend on your state and category.
