Mass Communication
Hi.
As you said whether or not you should get a job at the expense of your studies? the answer is NO. You do not need to aim for a job that causes you to sacrifice your study and since you had the courage to discontinue a college and then opt for B.Comm then it must be a course of your interest. However, regarding financial situation, you could look at alternatives such as you could talk at the interview with McDonalds to give you a part-time job considering you are still a student OR you could look for tutoring classes or anything that you can manage along with your studies. You are in this situation then you will be able to handle it. Ask your parents and seek guidance from your teachers as well, do not make rash and hasty decisions.
Incase you have a further specific query, please feel free to comment.
Best of Luck
See MA Mass Communication and MBA both have job perspective. But if you want a great salary package then choosing MBA will be a great choice. Doing your MBA from one of the top universities will really give you a highly contrasted future pathway and job prospect than MA Mass communication and its salary package.

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that it will not impact your placements provided you have done well in your bachelors and you are dedicated towards your academics. You can justify your year gap of study with good academics and performance in your bachelors. You can strengthen your resume with good academics and good extra curricular activities.
