Dear Aspirant,
Apeejay Institutes have a fairly good reputation in Delhi even though they are not ranked highly in NIRF. The course you intend to apply for is:
Corporate Communications and Event Management – In this course they have combined two distinct aspects which are communication and the other organizational skills. Two important skills you learn when managing corporate affairs or if you go into event management. Both are interdependent and that is why you see it as one course.
The new course is Business and Financial Journalism – Firstly it is about journalism and within this space – specialization in Business and Finance. This is pure analysis and then you should be able to convey your thoughts in a well written manner.
So do understand the difference and choose them based on your talent and strengths and not otherwise.
Good Luck
Hello Aspirant,
Hope your doing good.
Mass Communication is the study of how the information related to entities and individual, communicate or transfers to the entire world at the same time. The information is generally disseminated using the newspapers, books, magazines, websites, blogs, radio, film and television.
There is a rapid expansion in the mass communication industry in the last 10 years, with more and more news channels and media houses coming in to picture every year.
After completing the course, there is a huge demand from the news channels, TV shows, magazines, and various publishing firms and online news portals. The candidate can even work as a freelancer and work for many companies.
The job profile in this field may depend upon the company in which you are working and your overall experience. If you have good writing skills and excellent command on the language, if you can play with the words, then this career can get you to the great height. Looking at the current scenario of the media industry in India it is expanding at a rapid rate, more than five news channels are coming up every year so there is good opportunity for a fresher.
Have a Look at this link for more information about the course , its better to do a 2 year course for more depth of knowledge.

Hello,
Here pgd means post graduate diploma that is of 2 years not of 1 year . If you want to pursue 1 year of diploma in mass communication than it requires only that candidates must have passed their 10+2 from an recognised board, after having a degree or equivalent exam you would be eligible to pursue pg diploma in mass communication.
Hope i have cleared your doubt .
Good luck!
