yes , you are eligible to apply for bhu pet for m.a in mass communication course.

the basic eligibility criteria is candidate must pass graduation degree in any discipline with 50% marks in graduation course from a recognized university.

for sc/st candidates they need to have the pass marks applied by the respective university.

Examination paper pattern at Jamia Millia Islamia for MA mass communication 2020 is as follows. You need to answer 200 questions in 3 hours. Paper will only have multiple choice questions that is MCQ. Part A will contain 20 marks and part B will contain rest of the marks which include  interview and portfolio.

There are lot o college which do accept a student with an aggregate percentage  between 70-80% for BA MASS COMM.HONS. in Kolkata. Here are a few of them:

1. ST.XAVIER COLLEGE
2. Ashutosh College
3. Presidency College

These are just a few colleges, there are lot of colleges which will give admission wit 70-80%. So, don't worry. You will get admission in BA HON. in Kolkata only.
