Courses for hotel management where nchmct is not required?

Sudeshna Dutta 7th Sep, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing well!

The National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Test (NCHMCT JEE) is a national-level hospitality entrance exam for admission to bachelor's degree programmes in hospitality management and catering technology ( hotel management).

The institutions considering this test score charge fees that are significantly cheaper than those charged by other colleges. Furthermore, the degree acquired from an IHM is highly regarded in the industry due to the fact that they are supervised by the Ministry of Tourism and are widely recognised in the industry.

However, if you like to explore alternative possibilities, there are a variety of options accessible, which you may review as well. WBJEE JEHOM, PHTHAT, UPSEE BHMCT, AIMA UGAT, IPU CET BHMCT, IIHM ECHAT, UKSEE BHMCT, WBJEE JEHOM, PHTHAT, AIMA UGAT are the tests which will direct you to the most prestigious and top institutions in the country.

Also, note that in the case of Hotel Management courses given by private institutions and groups such as Taj Aurangabad, Oberoi, and others, a score from the NCHMCT is not required.

Hope this clears your doubt. Fee free to reply back for any concerns. All the Best!

The NCHMCT Joint Entrance Test (NCHMCT JEE) is a national-level hospitality entrance test for admission to bachelor's degree programmes in hospitality management and catering technology ( hotel management). Furthermore, because IHMs are overseen by the Ministry of Tourism and are widely recognised in the business, the degree earned from one is highly appreciated in the sector.

I am 33 years old working in BSNL as Junior accounts officer. Want to change job. Wish to either pursue WBCS preparation or study for NET in management. Which would be a better and easier option for me. I am an Mba (finance) and M. com.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 7th Sep, 2021

hi,

see currently you are doing a government job, now see ugc net score is evaluated for recruitment of lecturer or professor in govt as well as private institute. so if you want to switch to teaching profession , you may study for ugc net.

now coming to wbcs, exam is quite hard and have to prepare for one year, however the compensation is good and have excellent opportunity for graduates as well as commerce graduates.

however wbcs exam preparation is tougher than ugc net, but you have to decide what you want after clearing these exams, so take your decision accordingly. see none of the competitive exam is easy, you have to study sincerely along with your job to crack the exam.

all the best for your future endeavor.

So on such marks you have very low or almost no chances to get any of the private medical colleges under state quota of Kerala. Iam from Odisha. which other states are open for me in private management quota MBBS with less fee. I will secure 535 in neet2021. Shall I get a mbbs seat in private medical colleges in Odisha. Which other state shall I choose to get a mbbs seat with low budget say around 50 lakhs. please guide

Abhishek Roy 16th Oct, 2021

Assuming youre from General Category, With a Score of 535/720 You have fair chances of securing a MBBS Seat in some of the good Medical Colleges in Karnataka under Private/Management Quota under COMEDK Medical Counselling. You may have chances in securing IMS SUM as well as KIMS Bhubaneshwar. Another good option can be KMC Manipal, where you have high chances, though the fees is on the higher side and is around 60 Lakhs.

I believe you may even have low to moderate chances in securing a seat in some of the Good state Medical Colleges in Odisha like MKCG Medical College Berhampur, VSSIMSR Burla, Medical College & Hospital Baripada, SLNMCH Koraput and many others.
