Hey!
If you are a PCMB student, you must be familiar enough with biology. But before changing stream, you must consider that the paper patterns of JEE and NEET are very different. so be prepared for it. As you were preparing for JEE, your physics must be better than most of the NEET aspirants. So, that is a plus point. For Biology, its mostly from NCERT, so be thorough with that. Also solve as many previous year papers as possible.
Best of Luck!

Hey Srijan,
first of all, scoring 86% in your 10th is commendable congratulations . Secondly, the subjects combination can be judged by you only since you have to decide what you want to pursue after yout 12th standard. You have to make these choices on the basis of your career path. What i would suggest is decide what you want to be or what do you want to do in your life. Then research how to get there, and then choose your subjects accordingly.
Hi candidate,
Yes, you can take part in engineering competitions even if you have failed in maths and given re-examination for improved results. You can always pursue engineering and related fields that needs mathmatics as a compulsory subject of you have qualified the minimum eligibility criteria for the examinations.
Like for class PUC Karnatka, Must have passed the 2nd PUC or 12th class exam. Must have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. An aggregate minimum score of 45% in 2nd PUC.
However, it's all your choice, you can also go for diploma courses through which you can pursue higher degree courses after satisfying the minimum criteria.
I hope it helps.
Thank you!
