Anurag Khanna 3rd Mar, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

No there would be no effect of your class 12th percentage in JEE 2022, this is because just like last year, this year also there is no any 75% criteria for JEE 2022 and now you just have to be passed in class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, A language subject and one other subject than the previous 4.

JEE-Main 2022 eligibility criteria is mentioned below :-

1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.

2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed/appearing in 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board.

3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, would be eligible to appear.

So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.

For more details kindly check out the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-eligibility-criteria

From now very few time is left for JEE-Main 2022 so it is time to bind up your JEE-Preparation and start solving mock tests as much as you can to improve your time management skill.

You can also take JEE-Main Learning package for solving series of mock tests :-

I Have chosen standard maths in class 10 and i want to take maths for my further studies but not commerce and biology .In my school four coureses are available which one should I take Scien.+( hindi/ math) scie. +( com./ p.ed./e.p./ paint) comm.+(hindi/ maths) commerce+(com./ p.ed/ e.p./paint)

Sree Student Expert 25th Feb, 2022

Hello Shruti,

As you are interested in Mathematics then take it. Also you don't want to take Commerce and Biology. Then in that case you can take Science + Mathematics.

If you are talking about 10 th class then mostly Biology will be their in 10 th Subjects in science stream.

If you want to take Mathematics and not Commerce and Biology in 10+2 or Intermediate then it is possible.

You can take Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in your 10+2 or equivalent exam in Science stream and their won't be Biology and Commerce subjects.

I hope this information was helpful to you.

Best of Luck!!

I want to be good in math.Is practice very Important to score good marks?

Sree Student Expert 23rd Feb, 2022

Hello aspirant,

To get good marks you need to study hard. Especially in case of Mathematics practice is very much important.

To score well in Mathematics try to make a list of formulas for revision every day, so that you can remember them well.

Practice as much as you can by solving different question papers from resources like text books, previous year's question papers, sample question papers. If possible try to write mock tests as well if you want to prepare Mathematics for Competitive exams

May this information was useful to you.

All The Best for your future endeavours!!

By changing school after 10th class with basic math , can i take pcm in 11th

Anurag Khanna 22nd Feb, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

No, you cannot get admission in PCM in class 11th if you would pass from Basic Mathematics in class 10th because for PCM in class 11th you need to have standard Mathematics in class 10th and it does not matter whether you change your school or not because if the board would be same i.e. CBSE then also you would not be allowed to take part in class 11th in PCM because you have basic mathematics in class 10th. But yes if you shift to another board in class 11th then the rules would get changed so you should consider standard Mathematics in class 10th if you are seeking admission in PCM group in class 11th especially in the same board.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
