The Part A consist of English, Numerical Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Analytical Skills, Reasoning, General Aptitude and General Knowledge. Part B will consist of four sections :

I would advise you to first pursue B.Sc. Mathematics in your Bachelors Degree, followed by Masters or if you wish Integrated Masters (BSc+MSc), then PhD from some of the Reputed Higher Technical Institutions abroad or in India like Top IITs, IISERs, IISc Bangalore, Indian Statistical Institute, CMI and many others

Hi aspirant,

For UGC NET exam, a candidate must secure at least 55% marks in master degree or equivalent examination from UGC recognized universities/colleges in Humanities including languages and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. The 55 % marks should be without rounding off.

In general most of the universities in India gives a time period of 5 years in order to complete a course from the registration year. So as you have registered in 2013 then the last year to clear all the course work was on 2018 (This is the general scenario).

See as per the rules and norms by Hons or any full time course , its not the rule to pursue any other course from that university.

Yes, Mathematics and Computing is similar to Computer Science Engineering branch. It is a combination of mathematics with computer science and financial engineering. It contains 40% of Mathematics, 30% core Computer Science and 30% of Artificial Intelligence.
