Mathematics in your Bachelors Degree, followed by Masters or if you wish Integrated Masters (BSc+MSc), then PhD from some of the Reputed Higher Technical Institutions abroad or in India like Top IITs, IISERs, IISc Bangalore, Indian Statistical Institute, CMI and many others

For UGC NET exam, a candidate must secure at least 55% marks in master degree or equivalent examination from UGC recognized universities/colleges in Humanities including languages and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. The 55 % marks should be without rounding off.
