How is srm chennai for civil engeenering? Are on campus jobs possible in cil field?

Civil is just so so at SRM. The overall placements are decent for Chennai campus but at the other north Indian campuses, civil placements are very low. Basically mostly the IT companies recruit SRM candidates and most of them do not allow civil nowadays. Though the performance of SRM candidates

The eligibility criteria to apply for IIT-JAM is that a candidate must have passed in the qualifying exam with minimum 55% aggregate or 5.5 CGPA on 10 point scale for candidates belonging to General/OBC category. For SC/ST/OBC it is 50% aggregate marks or 5.0 CGPA on a 10 point

The courses you have taken are pretty good and have lots of scope as well.

If you have mathematics you can do bsc in maths, statistical studies, computer engineering etc.

Also if you have chemistry you can go for bsc in chemistry  biochemistry etc.
